Had a class gathering yesterday.. but since i ended school early and i was only supposed to meet yun xin at 6.. i went to watch a movie first.
watched "The Cove"
It's a film about the killing of 20,000 and more dolphins and porpoises in Taiji, Japan every year! :( i cried during the movie, it's just too painful to watch.
When it starts you dont know what to expect.
But as you keep watching, you realise that the group of people are trying to discover the secret of the cove, which is the place where the japanese fishermen kill the dolphins by stabbing them.
It's not easy to film near the cove cause the fishermen will shout at you and push you and block you from going anywhere near or anywhere where you can see the killing. they block off the roads and they just allow people to watch them chasing the dolphins into the shallow waters. The next day dolphin trainers will choose their ideal dolphins to be shipped to aquariams or oceanariams around the world. and the remaining one? They are killed in "the cove" and the meat is sold. sometimes the meat is passed off as whale meat and innocent people who dont know that it's dolphin meat they are indirectly eat contaminated food as dolphin meat is high in mercury content which is poisonous.
For the crew to have filmed this film, they took a lot of risks to not get caught by the japanese and what the fishermen do is actually covered up by the government itself.
If everyone would just watch the movie, im sure you would have felt what i felt.
The need to stop and prevent the killing and the need to spread the word around for more people to know and to force the japan government to shut down the business.
Tears of sadness will just flow from within and you just feel that what the people are doing is not right at all.

After the movie went to meet yunxin at marche, in the end there's was like only yun xin, pauline and i there. but since we expected about 12 people, so 6 people needed to be present before we could go in.
Slowly one by one, jolene came then hoe han then daiyi and.. we were still queuing then. hahas by that time it was around 7plus already, marche was super crowded and a long Q had formed outside. luckily we were inside :)
when sam, kenny and jieqin arrived, we had to wait some mroe before we could go in.
FINALLY! FOOD! :)) hahahas
we Q for an hour plus la~ =.=
ohhh well~ got to eat eat eat eat eat~
wheees~
had my salmon fillet, mushroom soup, calamari and my dessert! mixed berry pie! :))
yummmmmy! hahas
in the end only 10 people came. =.= jieping came last but she didnt eat at all. hahas
after that went to holland V to chill before going home.

okkay.. then today..
went to vivo for a while and bought goodies from candy empire, bought my boys over flowers OST (part 1 and part 2), and handphone accessories :D bought subway for dinner and the guy gave me MUSTARD instead of HONEY mustard! grrr... think he was drunk or something..
I HATE MUSTARD! ewwww~

in just 2 days i spent around $150. -.-
at the rate im going.. im gonna be broke by the end of the week sia. hahas
